Coming in various incarnations such as The Ohsees, OCS, or Orange County Sound - Thee Oh Sees bring the underground of the 60s - tinged with 50s rockabilly - and venture on occasional excursions into a little country called 'spazzed out noise land'.
The aesthetic is visceral garage rock and roll. It's fun and dirty at the same time, without any semblance of bullshit or pretension of profundity.

Oliver Mann is a performer. He's also a librarian and an opera singer... And a folk songwriter. His performances are a combination of all these things, morphing from classical vocalist to campfire storyteller as he tells tales of goblins invading his library. He's joined by Steering By Stars, their rise is no secret.
Pavement Are Coming
The never-ending cycle of touring bands bypassing Adelaide inevitably gets us down, but don't look so despondent now. Those lovable slackers from California just gave us proof that sometimes the stars can align perfectly.
Pavement are reuniting for some one-off shows - old news. But what were the chances they would be playing those in Australia? Pretty slim, Jim.
