It's really pleasing when you personally organize a meal with a group of friends and everyone's satisfied with what they eat. Not only does the eatery get a good rap but you come across as a person who is totally ruling at life. This can be difficult to achieve though, as there's always that one person who's disappointed with their meal. We could call him a lot of things - douche, psycho hose beast, bagstance, coat hanger, shit, winner - but how about we just call him Oscar.

So where do you go when you want to please 'Oscar' and the rest of your friends? I say Tincat, a café a few minutes' walk from the CBD down in semi-industrial semi-townhouse Kent Town. It's a little hidden, but we like that.

Tincat Café will give you options so eclectic that there's bound to be something on the menu that will leave your grumpiest of friends licking their plates instead of smashing them. Pretty much everything from simple tasty snacks to those fancy full blown things called degustations. And, as an added bonus, Tincat Café also hosts art exhibitions, so there's always something different to look at on the walls while you wait for your Atlantic Salmon, Ricotta stuffed Zucchini Flower or hot cup o' joe. How could anyone be grouchy about that? Fanny pack.
