This went viral. That went viral. Your mum went viral. The Viral Loop is an overview of this paradigm shifting phenomenon. From Tupperware to Twitter. From Hotmail to herpes. Even the concept ‘viral' has gone viral.
Einstein espoused that ‘The most powerful force in the universe is compound interest.
For me, some French picture books form the "Triumvirate of Utilité". They are charming, fable-like, ostensibly for kids (a niece perhaps) and can double as 'uplifting gift for pal in break-up hell', or triple as a 'defacto love letter to your new crush'. I used to keep a mint copy of Saint-Exupéry's Le Petit Prince for said purpose/s.

FiveThousand is a subcultural guide to Adelaide, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Adelaide writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence FiveThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
